Ms. Sweta Shah is working as the Senior ECD Advisor with the Bernard van Leer Foundation. She has over 15 years of experience in education and ECD in emergencies work, having implemented and supported programmes in Africa, Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Ms. Shah is currently a PhD student at University College London where her research focuses on ECD and South Sudanese refugees in Uganda. Previous research Ms. Shah has led focused on ECD in emergency programmes in Bangladesh, Indonesia and Haiti, and education and conflict in West Africa.
